ರಾಗ: ಶಿವರಂಜನಿ     

                                

(ಪ)          ಚಿಕ್ಕದಾಗೊಂದು   ಕೇಳುವೆ  ರಂಗ

                ಕಷ್ಟವಾದನ್ತದು  ಬೆಡುವೆನಲ್ಲ               (ಚಿಕ್ಕ)

(ಅ ಪ)     ಕಪಿರಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯವೇ  ಕೋರಿದ

                ಮುನಿರಾಜನೋ ನಿನ್ನಯೇ  ಕೇಳಿದ      (ಚಿಕ್ಕ)

(ಚ)         ಚಿನ್ನದ  ಹಿರಣ  ಬೇಕೆನಿಸಿದಳು

               ಸಣ್ಣವನೆನ್ದು ನೀರು ತಾರೆನ್ದರು   

               ಗನ್ನ  ಮಹಿಮೆಯ  ವಿಠ್ಠಲ  ಎನಗೆ

               ನಿನ್ನ ಮರೆಯೆದ  ಮನವೇ  ಸಾಕು            (ಚಿಕ್ಕ)

Praying Ranga for things small

Nothing very difficult at all

King of monkeys¹ wanted his land

King of Rishis² wished your hand

'Golden deer' cried the bharya³

'Water now' bawled the dasa⁴

Vittala in whom fames reside

Stay forever in my mind

கஷ்டவாத₃ந்தது₃    கேளுவெ னல்ல

கபிராஜனு தன்ன ராஜ்யவே கோரித₃

முனிராஜனோ நின்னயெ கேளித

சின்னத₃  ஹிரண   பே₃கெனிஸித₃ளு

ஸண்ணவ  நெந்து₃  நீரு தாரெந்த₃ரு

க₃ன்ன மஹிமெய விட்₄டல எனகே₃

நின்ன மரெயத₃ மனவே ஸாகு
