தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தி  துதி

(ப)      ஆலமர  நிழலில் நடத்தும் பள்ளியைப் பாரீர்

        ஞாலத்தி லிதுபோல் எங்கும் கண்டீரோ நீவிர்

(அ.ப)   குருவோ இளைஞன் சீடரோ முதிர் முனிகள்

        உருவோ அருவமாம் மொழியோ வெறு மௌனம்

(ச)      அஞ்ஞான அரக்கனைக் காலின்கீழ் அடக்கியே

        விஞ்ஞானச் சுடர், ஓலை கைகளில் ஏந்தியே

        மெய்ஞ்ஞானச் சின்னம் அவனடையும் வழி காட்டும்

        தஞ்ஞான மளிக்கும் தென்னமர் சிவனிங்கு

ஞாலம்: உலகம்

அஞ்ஞான அரக்கன்: அபஸ்மாரம்

மெய்ஞானச் சின்னம்: சின்முத்திரை

தஞ்ஞானம்: knowledge about oneself, self-realization

தென்னமர் சிவன்: தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தி

Chitram vata tharor  moole vruddha sishya, guror yuva,

Gurostu mounam vykhyanam sishyasthu chinna samsaya

It is strange to see, The very old disciples, And the very young teacher,

Who sit under a banyan tree,With the teacher always observing silence,

And the students getting all the doubts cleared.
